1/600 Maunsell Gun Platform

A resin model representing the prototype gun platform designed by Guy Maunsell to support amphibious landings. The Gun Platform was intended to be towed to a position off  the beach where the pontoons would be flooded and the platform would sit on the sea bed, providing a stable platform foe its two 6” guns. A prototype model was built but the design was not adopted. Two variants are included, one in transit mode, the other sitting on the sea bed
